#EqualAccess: Fair Pricing

Within our plant medicine ecosystem, the first pillar of our #EqualAccess approach is fair pricing – a topic that is well-discussed within the plant medicine Patient communities (and online forums such as Reddit and Discord).

Historically, plant medicine in Australia has been prohibitively expensive, not only for the initial consults and paperwork to get approved, but then for the medicine itself. It’s not uncommon for a Patient to need to pay several hundred dollars up front just to secure an appointment to speak with an authorised prescriber, even if this results in them not being approved for medication.

We believe that transparent and fair pricing for plant medicine shouldn’t just be a pipe dream, and we actively work to supply every Patient with quality product that they can afford.

So, how exactly do we proactively protect pricing for our Patients?

  1. Exclusively RRP or less: As a brand-agnostic telehealth service and dispensary, we are committed to offering a wide range of brands and products (so our Patients are never limited in their choices). We will never charge our Patients more than the RRP for any product – in fact, we have even absorbed margin costs at times to ensure our Patients are never taking an extra hit to their wallets.
  2. Paying-it-forward: As we align with every supplier, we endeavour to pass on further discounts to our Patients where possible, including working with brands such as Elevated Extracts and Cymra to reduce or even eliminate postage expenses.
  3. Communication & choice: With a shifting financial landscape here in Australia, we can’t guarantee the prices of all our products will remain static, but we are dedicated to pre-emptive communication with every Patient that may be impacted by a future price rise. We share this information with our Patient community in a timely fashion and will work with your prescriber or clinic to find alternative products that are more cost effective for you, so every Patient has the opportunity to review their budget and prescribed products accordingly.

Fair pricing for all Patients shouldn’t just be a “nice to have”, for us, it’s a must-have.
