Australia’s first Desktop vaporising device to be entered on the ARTG to be used with Cannabinoid-Based Medicine.. It is intended for inhalation of cannabinoids, the active ingredients from medicinal cannabis. Suitable medicinal cannabis formulations include dried, milled cannabis flowers and liquid cannabinoids dissolved in alcohol. Administering cannabinoids via a vaporiser ensures a faster onset of effect, compared to ingestion.
The Volcano Medic 2 Vaporisation System consists of a Hot Air Generator, a diaphragm pump and a removable Valve Balloon or Tube System.
The vaporisation and inhalation processes are thus separated in time and space, which makes inhalation safe, as contact with heat or electricity is avoided.
To vaporise the cannabinoids, snap the Filling Chamber with cannabinoids onto the Hot Air Generator. The empty Valve Balloon or Tube Kit is then placed on top of the Filling Chamber. When used with the Tube, the diaphragm pump is not needed, so it can be inhaled directly from the Tube.
